this new afterwork hanging out is amazing. just appies and great selection of wines (beers ok, need to have Stella) i love the feel and experience coming in from the dark back alley and finding this small gem in the mid-block of g-town. the space was clean design, with family style seating. exposed brick wall and simple pendant lighting gave the feeling of elegance without spending alot. great mix of people too. a group of us, sat beside a cool older couple on their way to a show and at the front some urban skate kids chilling at the front. i love the concept of the tasting room with the daily menu changing with local cheeses and meats paired with current local and imported wines. this establishment will set the bar for the redevelopment of g-town. wicked. the location reminded me of barcelona in the El Borne district. check it out. - renante , posted 01/14/07 |
