Located on Commercial, caddy corner to Grandview Park, is Joe's Cafe. An unpretentious and basic cafe that advertises "The best cappucino in town". Well I agree. Don't expect filter coffee and cold non-dairy creamer here-- you'll get a proper Americano and if you like milk, it will be steamed. I went out on a limb and ordered a mocha. It took 5 minutes plus to make and was worth it. First heat the chocolate put in in the glass, then steam the milk, pour and let it settle, then add froth, then add the shot. I felt like I should be cheering on my mocha being made like it was a spectator sport. Please enjoy a coffee here and see how it should be done. - Athena , posted 02/10/06 |
