We have enjoyed thier food for years make a point of eating there when we come to Vamcouver. Service is good place is clean servers are friendly. love the curries and vegies. Great place to eat. - lynne , posted 06/16/05 |

I've been going to the Himalaya for over 20 years and have never been disappointed with the food. Everything is great, and it's much cheaper than pretty much any other Indian restaurant in Vancouver. Dishes are around $4 to $6, or you can have the buffet for about $7. All you can eat! Try the malai kofta (veggie balls in sauce), the tikka paneer (curd/cheese comes sizzling to the table straight out of the tandoori oven), the spinach and paneer, oh, anything! The naan is the best anywhere, hot and fresh. Try it, you'll love it and you won't freak when you get the bill. - Unsubscribed , posted 02/02/05 |
