I just recently came acroos the Alegria Cafe when I wasn't even looking for it! What a gem! Friendly staff, great food, beverages and decor... even the other patrons were a pleasure. If you are in Steveston, I highly reccommended that you check out Alegria Cafe located on First Avenue...they serve fair-trade coffee, loose-leaf teas, amazing soups and sandwichs and even granola for breakfast. Besides the food, this wonderful cafe has the most peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful zen style garden in the back. Also connected to the Alegria are the Ikeela Yoga/Pilates studio and the Machika House Healing Centre. These venues are home to Hatha yoga classes, Stott pilates classes, meditation groups, Reiki groups and much more. Just walking into these spaces will heal you! - Unsubscribed , posted 01/14/06 |
