At first I didn't like the chilled drum & bassiness of the album, but the songs are just so good and summery that I soon started playing this disc daily. This is psydub at its best, often double timing into d&b, but always with a deep & dubby bassline. Drink More Tea samples Terrence discussing psychadelic plants, Sea of Green couples a wonderful title with a groovy fiddle line, Long Summer Daze involkes exactly that feeling, and the rest of the album swings along so well that 8 tracks and 80 minutes later you are wishing for more. - Spaceman , posted 10/02/06 |
