no august releases, so here's one of my favourite albums... Kaya Project is a project of Sebastian James Taylor, aka Shakta aka half of Angel Tears. Kaya is more psychadelic than Angel, but they are both awesome ethnochill fusing eastern chants with fresh beats and Seb's wicked guitar and drum work. Elixir trumps my previous fave, Walking Through, not an extrapolation on the original but a fresh new album with 12 incredible songs. I love 65 Percent the most, but when I listen to Elixir I listen to the whole album, and I listen to it often. - Spaceman , posted 10/02/06 |
