My sister and I are looking for someone to take over the third room in a three bedroom basement suite at Knight and 31st.
Don't be scared by the basement suite! Its big (1200 sq. feet) and bright, clean and with big windows that make you feel like you aren't underground!
Rent is $400 plus utilities, internet and phone (about $50/month). There is laundry in suite, nice landlords who live upstairs and the house is across the street from a cute elementary school.
We are sisters from Toronto in our early twenties. I go to UBC and I'm interested in food, agriculture, cycling and Latin America, she is almost finished her BFA in Contemporary Dance at SFU and we are both going to be yoga teachers by the end of this summer!
Do you like yoga? Cycling? Good food? Dark chocolate? Tea? This room is available from April 1st onwards for the perfect roommate!
We are not big TV watchers, however we enjoy reruns of sex and the city or the OC and movies. We like having fun, but we don't party in the house, except for the occasional potluck or dinner party. The house is super accessible to UBC (#25 bus), downtown (#22 bus outside the door!), SFU (#22 and skytrain), Langara (15 minutes on transit!) and bike routes.
