We are Looking for a Wonderful Room-mate!
Looking for friendly, conscientious, clean and responsible room-mates. Preferably vegetarian!
There are few rooms opening up.
Available Dec. 15, 2008: large, south-facing room with built in closet in basement suite, kitchen strictly vegetarian. $550
Available Jan. 1st, 2009: on the upper floor, south-facing and bright with high ceilings and hardwood floors . Perfect for a serene and productive environment. It has a built in closet and can be furnished or partially furnished. $600
Rent is all inclusive of utilities/high speed internet/landline phone service.
The house is in the heart of beautiful Kitsilano. It has three bedrooms on the upper floor, one bathroom and a large kitchen. All of us using the kitchen are vegetarian. As well, there is as a sunny front porch, large patio in the back, and a huge back-yard with ample opportunity to garden and relax in the summer. Laundry facilities are in the basement, where there is another suite with two bedrooms, one bathroom and kitchen.
The location of our home is in the vicinity of 7th and Trafalgar. Very close to local grocers and many other types of shops on Broadway and 4th. As well as yoga studios, and a many options that facilitate a healthy lifestyle. It is also very close to the ocean, UBC and downtown Vancouver - with major transit lines (99 B-line, 9, 17, 4, 44, 84, 7, 2 and 22 Buslines running near) and in a great place for bike transit as well.
Our home is shared by people in our mid-twenties working professionally and/or studying at UBC in grad school or professional programs. All of us are world travellers who have lived for many years in various parts of the globe and are interested in positive personal self-development and living healthy life-styles. As well as, being interested and involved in humanitarian and/or environmental initiatives. We value sharing house responsibilities to keep our home clean and vibrant. Looking to live with a friendly, clean, responsible, and conscientious room-mate.
