Ian Dakers has been designing a set of tools for the past 12 years to assist individuals, groups, organizations and communities to learn, create, communicate and heal together. These tools are based upon a holistic business thinking system called the Inflow Matrix (Information flowing through a matrix). Integrating many different business and spiritual models, the Inflow Matrix assists people to learn how to think in multiple levels and perspectives. The tools can be used in any business context. There is also a way to co-create a New Paradigm organizational structure called a “Shared Knowledge Community” built into the design of the whole idea.
The main assumption at the foundation of this idea is that as Einstein pointed out, you cannot solve a problem using the thinking that created it. All of our problems we collectively face on the planet earth is due to the Old Paradigm Industrial Revolutionary thinking based upon profit first. The new paradigm has a primary value of sustainability. The Inflow Matrix is a set of mind maps that allows people to distinguish between the Old Paradigm and New Paradigm language structures and value systems. There is also a unique way to design individual, team, organizational and community value systems.
The use of the pendulum as a tool of design as well as a tool of divination was very instrumental in the design of these tools. One tool, The Time Translator, was designed solely using a pendulum to identify the number of levels and the number of sections per level. Another tool, the Conscious Communication Card Set can create patterns that the pendulum can help you to discern the deeper meanings.
This presentation will be the first public presentation of this work in a number of years and the cards sets, maps and game boards have been beta tested for the past 7 years. Ian will tell a bit of his story and share some of his discoveries along the way.
